About Us
Whitchurch Whizzkids is open Monday to Friday (term time only) with two sessions as follows:
9.00am to 11.30am (morning session)
11.30am to 13.00pm (lunchtime session)
Children are eligible to start when they are 2½ years old.
We can take a maximum of 26 children each day and we recommend a minimum of 2 sessions per week. Children can
attend any combination up to 5 days per week. For the lunchtime session, children should bring their lunch,
their drinks will be provided.
From September 2007 our fees will be £5 per morning session and £3 for the lunchtime session. Fees are payable
a half-term in advance. Where this may cause difficulty our Treasurer will be happy to discuss possible alternatives.
If your child is absent the fees are still due for the missed sessions.
Government funding is available for all 3 and 4 year olds, which entitles them to five 2½hrs sessions per week. This
is available from the term directly after the child's third birthday. Funding is received directly from the government,
all paperwork will come to the parents through the playgroup.
Keyworker
Here at Whizzkids have a Keyworker system in place, which is to assess your child while he/she is with us. You will be invited
to a meeting termly with your child’s Keyworker to discuss their progress and/or any concerns.
These 15 minute meetings will take place during a session at 9.00am, 11.15am or 1.00pm. You will be allocated a time that is
convenient for yourself and the Keyworker.
